Product Recommendations

After years of trying out different brands of makeup and skin care products I've decided to share some of my favorites! Feel free to send me a message if you have recommendations of your own.

Makeup:

Mascara- Maybelline Great Lash (the pink and green tube)- it's a staple product, you can't go wrong with it.
Eyeliner- CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus- no sharpener needed and it has a great smudger on one end.
Liquid Eyeliner- CoverGirl Line Exact Liquid Eyeliner- has a fine tip and if you hold it like a pencil it's so easy to put on.
Eyeshadows- MAC- they have such a wide range of colors, and the pigmentation is great, meaning the color is longer lasting and you don't need to use as much to get the results you want.
Foundation- bareMinerals- I think this is one foundation that lives up to it's name, and the mineral veil works so well for an even finish.
Liquid Foundation- Mary Kay Medium Coverage- It's enough coverage, but it doesn't feel like you're wearing any makeup.
Concealer- Sonia Kashuk- comes in a palette with 3 different shades.
Blush- Bobbi Brown
Brow Color- Sonia Kashuk- she has a great little brow palette that comes with 4 different shades in it, and it's affordable.
Bronzer- still looking for one that I love!
Lip Gloss- CoBigelow Mentha Lip Gloss from Bath & Body Works
MAC Lipglass- it goes on thick but the colors they offer are the best.
Lip Stick- MAC Lipstick- once again the colors are great.


Skin Care:

Cleanser- Neutrogena- I've tried quite a few of their cleansers and I've loved them all.
Moisturizer- Oil of Olay with SPF 15- not greasy at all, perfect for the summer with an SPF.
Aveda Hydrating Lotion- it's a thicker moisturizer, better for the winter months.
Self Tanner for Face- Estee Lauder- it gives good results and doesn't smell like a typical self tanner
Self Tanner for Body- Aveda Sun Source- it's not greasy, and doesn't smell like self tanner.
Body Moisturizer with Self Tanner- Dove Energy Glow- smells good and gives good color.

Tools:

Makeup Brushes- Lancome- all of their brushes are very soft, good quality.
Eyelash Curler- Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler
